FJI. medal - made for the World Exhibition in Vienna in 1873
A great medal of merit awarded to exhibitors.
Signed.
The World Exhibition in Vienna, which took place from 1 May to 2 November 1873, was a significant event not only for Austria-Hungary but also for the whole world. It was the fifth world exhibition in a row and the first to be held in a German-speaking area. The exhibition was intended to demonstrate Austria's recovery and strength after the lost wars with Piedmont and France in 1859 and with Prussia in 1866. It was an opportunity for Austria-Hungary to show its renewed self-confidence and desire to become a major player on the international stage.

Rozhodně doporučuji a příště nakoupím znovu
