This coin is issued to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of Jan Amos Komenský (1592-1670), a Czech educator, philosopher, writer and theologian who is considered one of the most important thinkers and reformers in the history of education. Comenius is often referred to as the "teacher of nations", because his pedagogical theories and methods had a profound influence on the development of education in Europe and around the world. He was one of the most important representatives of humanist and Enlightenment thought.

This coin was minted at the Kremnica mint in 1992.

Vše v naprostém pořádku
