Numismatics and phaleristics have been important collectors' artifacts since ancient times. In addition, they are ancillary historical sciences. They are in fact very durable material evidence of history, politics, financial conditions and also of the technical and artistic level of the era in which they were created. They are therefore not only an object of trade and collection, but give us a very interesting insight into the historical periods when they were minted.
